This new series launched by EACCNY will be a relaxed discussion with a senior European, Canadian & American executive who will share his/her secret to success in a casual setting over cheese & wine/beer. This program series aims to provide a platform for junior colleagues to meet successful senior professionals and learn about what it took them to become successful in their respective field of work. In addition to that, during the conversation they will hear about the struggles and triumphs of their fellow colleagues and consider the advice of the executives. It is also a great opportunity to meet fellow associates and build a network of peers.

Our first executive guest will be: Remi Forgeas, France Practice Leader - Partner, RSM



Remi is the France country practice national leader for RSM US LLP since 2012. In his current role he assists, with his team, companies from French-speaking countries (mainly France and Quebec) within the United States and Canada.

He is a certified public accountant with over 25 years of international experience in the United States, France, Canada, Europe and Africa, providing transaction and audit services to multinational companies seeking to expand their operations in North America.

Remi started his career audit junior associate in Paris. Early on in his career he worked on international projects. These projects enriched his experience with regular travels in Europe and Africa. After 5 years, Remi moved to the US capitalizing on his international experience serving US subsidiaries of French-owned groups. Early 2000s, he joined PwC’s transaction advisory group as a manager. Before joining RSM, Remi was an audit partner with Mazars US.

He is a regular speaker at events on U.S. market issues (French and U.S.), is a frequent panelist at events on foreign direct investments in the United States and has authored numerous articles for various industry publications.

As a foreign-born person living in New York, Remi is sensitive to understanding cultures that are different from his own. He is an active member of the firm’s Multicultural employee network group. He enjoys nurturing and educating talent to help guide the next generation of RSM leaders.
