USAM Group’s Sales Slicer Wins Tech + Innovation Challenge

Game-Changing Platform for Enterprise Sales Makes Commercial Debut.

NEW YORK May 17, 2023 USAM Group, the distinctive provider of outsourced sales, marketing, and advisory services to growth-stage technology innovators, is excited to announce that Sales Slicer, its unique sales and business intelligence tool, was awarded first place in the Enterprise division of the 2023 Queens (NY) Tech + Innovation Challenge.

USAM developed Sales Slicer to bring transparency and accuracy to the enterprise sales process, making it more predictable with a combination of human input and data-driven AI. In a nutshell, Sales Slicer’s unique approach guides salespeople to thoughtfully record what they are doing to advance each enterprise deal and think about what they will do next, then uses AI to evaluate the human input and offer suggestions for the most impactful ways to proceed. Sales Slicer also zooms out to look at deal timelines and provides realistic closing dates for more predictable revenue projections.

“After years of perfecting Sales Slicer through daily use, we’re taking it to the next level, and we’re thrilled to have our hard work acknowledged,” said USAM CEO Feargal O’Sullivan. “Jiahui Lu, USAM’s Data Scientist and the brains behind Sales Slicer’s AI engine, and I are grateful to the Queens Economic Development Corporation (QEDC), the challenge sponsors, and the judges for a beautifully run program that’s helped us get underway.”

The Queens Tech + Innovation Challenge is a multi-month competition that began in the fall of 2022, with 54 entrants participating in a series of mentorship, networking, and training services provided by the QEDC. After an elimination round in late March, USAM delivered its final pitch to a panel of judges on April 24 and took the top prize, which included a cash award to help develop and promote Sales Slicer.
