The Value of an EACC Membership
The Value of an EACC Membership
What our members think about the EACC
The goal of EACC’s New York Chapter is to stimulate transatlantic trade & business development, and to facilitate networking and relationships between European and American businesses and professional organizations. To facilitate this we provide our members with access to transatlantic business opportunities as well as timely and relevant information, resources and support on matters affecting business activities between Europe and the U.S.
Below are a few testimonials from Members of the European American Chamber in New York.
“ING has found the EACC to be a very valuable builder of bridges between the European and US business and political communities. They have fantastic events with top notch speakers – they have excellent access to the top economic and political decision makers in Europe. I particularly enjoy the smaller more intimate breakfast session where one gets enough time to network and to go into more depth.”
— Nick Smit, Head of Financial Institutions – North America, ING
“Our firm has been involved with EACCNY for almost 2 years and I believe this organization is member focused and truly delivers value. The Executive Director Yvonne Bendinger-Rothschild is always trying to facilitate member connections and activities. She is right out of Gladwell’s “Tipping Point” as the “connector” extraordinaire!! The Wiki summarizes “connectors” like Yvonne as follows: “Connectors are the people in a community who know large numbers of people and who are in the habit of making introductions. A connector is essentially the social equivalent of a computer network hub. They usually know people across an array of social, cultural, professional, and economic circles, and make a habit of introducing people who work or live in different circles. They are people who “link us up with the world…people with a special gift for bringing the world together”. They are “a handful of people with a truly extraordinary knack [… for] making friends and acquaintances”. Yvonne brings energy and ideas to the table and uses her unique skill set to further the mission of EACC!”
— Howard Daniel, Shareholder, Ogletree Deakins
“I have very much enjoyed our membership to the EACC and value to be kept informed on topics related to cross-border activities between the US and Europe, while meeting with international professionals in selective verticals. Driven by a great leadership, the events provide a well-balanced combination of educational content and networking opportunities to widen your perspective on current topics while increasing your company’s visibility to a high-level audience. The contacts made are truly valuable either as a resource for conducting business or as new customers to the services provided by our company.”
— Isabelle Theimann, Business Development Manager, US, RR Donnelley Global Translation Services
The EACC is unique in its approach to developing relationships for and among its members that benefit everyone involved. The EACC would be a topnotch community merely with the useful, substantive programs on important topics it routinely sponsors, and its interesting members. Yvonne Bendinger-Rothschild knows fascinating, engaged people everywhere, and has provided pithy insights that have quickly enabled me to hone my business plans and strategy in remarkably productive ways. She is a champion of all of her members and works hard to provide great service to everyone.

After meeting Yvonne, she confidently assured me that aligning with the EACCNY would put my newly launched global business strategy and advisory firm, Adelson Strategies, “on the map”. She was right. During my firm’s first month of membership, She included me an exclusive roundtable discussion led by trade representatives from the US and EU and attended by the most interesting group of members, invited me to publish an article about successfully navigating a US business launch that was seen by over 6,500 EACCNY newsletter recipients (which she also provided candid feedback on, resulting in an improved work product), and she directly connected me with a client referral. I have never been part of a membership organization that provided so much support and such an incredible opportunity to network, learn and promote my business so quickly.
