ROSENER
James D. Rosener, President

Mr. Rosener is the president of the European American Chamber of Commerce New York. He also is a director of the Chambre de Commerce Franco-Americain, the Institute of French Culture at the University of Pennsylvania and a member of the board the European-American Chamber of Commerce Paris Chapter.

James D. Rosener is a partner in the Commercial Department of Troutman Pepper LLP a founding member of the EACC in New York. He heads the firm’s International Practice Group, is managing partner of the New York office and has served as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. His practice is devoted primarily to international transactions, private equity, mergers and acquisitions and corporate financing.

Mr. Rosener holds a B.S. from Lehigh University, an M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University at Madison and a J.D. degree Delaware Law School (since been renamed Widener University School of Law). He is a member of the bars of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey and to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He has published numerous articles and lectures around the world frequently on legal issues relating to transatlantic business.

Yvonne Bendinger-Rothschild, Executive Director

Yvonne joined the European American Chamber of Commerce New York Chapter as its Executive Director in October 2010. During her career she has worked with and consulted for a number of non-profits and for-profits and was able to significantly contribute to their growth by raising their public profiles, geographic foot print and relevance within their respective industries. In those roles she has worked with clients and partners across the US, in Europe, Latin America and Asia.

Yvonne grew up in Germany, and she sees herself as a European, dedicated to the idea that Europe needs to think, act and be regarded as one entity. In her role at the EACC she focuses on promoting an active transatlantic discourse and to engage the business communities on both sides in a meaningful dialog, to create profitable partnerships and to provide a professional platform to exchange ideas.

Education: Mrs. Bendinger-Rothschild is a graduate of the University of Applied Science in Ludwigshafen, Germany where she earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Controlling/Finance. She is fluent in German and English, has a working knowledge of French and basic skills in Spanish.

Memberships & Affiliations: Mrs. Bendinger-Rothschild is a member of Bretton Woods Committee‘s Future of Finance Working Group. She is a fellow at the Tribeca Disruptor Foundation and a member of the Corporate Advisory Committee at International Property Tax Institute (IPTI) and the Transatlantic Business & Investment Council [TBIC]; She is also a member of the Economic Club of New York

Yvonne works closely with the EACC board, our members and colleagues in the other EACC chapters on a variety of initiatives to keep the organization dynamic, relevant and forward-looking.

Her priority is to create value for its membership and help grow the organization and its influence on both sides of the Atlantic. To that extend she is spearheading EACC’s international expansion strategy and is working with partners across the U.S. and Europe to identify & develop suitable locations and collaborators to expand the EACC chapter network.

Edit Fodor, Director Programs & Communication

Edit Fodor joined the European American Chamber of Commerce New York Chapter (EACCNY) in February, 2022.

Edit’s aim is to ensure that the EACCNY lives up to its mission to stimulate transatlantic trade and business development, to educate the business community on both sides of the Atlantic about the intricacies of transatlantic trade and to facilitate networking and relationships between European and American businesses and professional organizations. She is responsible for the organization of seminars, webinars, conferences, panel discussions and any other programs to inform and educate EACCNY members and their European and American business community. Edit will be creating business value through effective communication for the EACCNY members and the EACC organization.

Edit has a considerable international relations background. At her last role as Chief Representative, she was responsible for developing relationships between the Central Bank of Hungary and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and other financial regulatory authorities as well as liaising with US Banks, FinTech Firms, and the academia. Prior to being posted to New York, she has been working for the Central Bank of Hungary (CBH) in different management positions, being responsible for relations with EU institutions and international organizations. Edit started her career as an assistant professor at the University of Szeged before joining the European Commission Delegation in Budapest as the Economic, Trade and Business Policy Advisor of the Head of Delegation.

Education: Edit is an economist; she has a master’s degree in economics and business administration with a specialization in EU integration. She is fluent in Hungarian and English and speaks intermediate level of French and German.
