James D. Rosener, President

Mr. Rosener is the president of the European American Chamber of Commerce New York. He also is a director of the Chambre de Commerce Franco-Americain, the Institute of French Culture at the University of Pennsylvania and a member of the board the European-American Chamber of Commerce Paris Chapter.

James D. Rosener is a partner in the Commercial Department of Troutman Pepper LLP a founding member of the EACC in New York. He heads the firm’s International Practice Group, is managing partner of the New York office and has served as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. His practice is devoted primarily to international transactions, private equity, mergers and acquisitions and corporate financing.

Mr. Rosener holds a B.S. from Lehigh University, an M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University at Madison and a J.D. degree Delaware Law School (since been renamed Widener University School of Law). He is a member of the bars of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey and to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He has published numerous articles and lectures around the world frequently on legal issues relating to transatlantic business.

Yvonne Bendinger-Rothschild, Executive Director

Yvonne joined the European American Chamber of Commerce New York Chapter as its Executive Director in October 2010. During her career she has worked and consulted for a number of non-profits and for-profits where she significantly contributed to their growth by raising their public profiles, geographic foot print and relevance within their respective industries. In her roles she has worked with clients and partners across the US, in Europe, Latin America and Asia.

Yvonne grew up in Germany, and she sees herself as a European and is dedicated to the idea that Europe needs to think, act and be regarded as one entity. In her role at the EACC she focuses on furthering an active transatlantic discourse and to engage the business communities on both sides in a meaningful dialog and exchange of ideas.

Yvonne works closely with the EACC board and colleagues in the other EACC chapters on a variety of initiatives to keep the organization dynamic, relevant and forward-looking.

Her priority is to create value for its membership and help grow the organization and its influence on both sides of the Atlantic. To that extend she is spearheading EACC’s international expansion strategy and is working with partners across the U.S. and Europe to identify & develop suitable locations and collaborators to expand the EACC chapter network.

Memberships & Affiliations: Mrs. Bendinger-Rothschild is a member of the United Nations Business Sector Steering Committee on Financing for Development. She is a fellow at the Tribeca Disruptor Foundation and a member of the Corporate Advisory Committee at International Property Tax Institute (IPTI) and the Transatlantic Business & Investment Council [TBIC]; She is also a member of the Economic Club of New York.

Education: Mrs. Bendinger-Rothschild is a graduate of the University of Applied Science in Ludwigshafen, Germany where she earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Controlling/Finance.

She is fluent in German and English, has a working knowledge of French and basic skills in Spanish.

Paolo Frazzini Meléndez, Manager, Member Engagement & New Initiatives

Paolo Frazzini Meléndez joined the European American Chamber of Commerce New York Chapter (EACCNY) in March 2020, after graduating from Tufts University in May 2019.

Paolo facilitates networking and relationship-building between European and American professionals with the main goal of fostering transatlantic business cooperation. He is responsible for new initiatives that encourage this type of active engagement from the EACCNY membership; including the “EACCNY Pulse” podcast channel, Thought-Leadership insights and more.

His previous experience includes: Benenova, a non-for-profit platform that connects and coordinates volunteer work in Paris; and PosEcon, a management consulting firm headquartered in Madrid.

Memberships & Affiliations: Paolo is a founding executive board member of the Tufts European Students Association, and an alumni of the Tufts University Football Club (TUFC).

Education: Paolo has a BA in International Relations with a focus on Economic Development from Tufts University in Medford, MA. Additionally, he studied abroad at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) and Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. Paolo speaks English, Spanish, French, and has basic skills in German.

Our colleague Femke Hartog moved back to the Netherlands and we are looking for someone to step into her shoes.

The position a great opportunity for someone with detailed and broad knowledge of the EU & US relationship, including related economic issues and the transatlantic business environment, to deploy that experience in an international affairs & trans-Atlantic business environment. The position has the potential to expand in scope and responsibilities as we are growing not only as a chapter but also as a network.


The objective of the position is to ensure that the EACC-NY lives up to its mission to stimulate transatlantic trade & business development, to educate the business community on both sides of the Atlantic about the intricacies of transatlantic trade and to facilitate networking and relationships between European and American businesses and professional organizations.

This position has an important outward facing component and exposure to very senior level executives and ministers on a national and international level.
Concrete you will be
• Developing and executing all aspects of our educational seminars and workshops.
• Work with our committees and members to build out educational programs.
• Responsible for the development and execution of marketing plan, incl. progress/result/ROI analysis
• Manage the day-to-day hands-on responsibility for updates on digital marketing platforms & marketing/program collateral


You have 5 or more years of work experience and proven knowledge of transatlantic relations and the business issues related to trade & investment between Europe and the US. Valid Work Permit is required(!).
