The EACC New York was the second chapter in the United States and is part of a growing transatlantic European-American Chamber of Commerce® network in partnership with the EACC in Paris France, Cincinnati Ohio, Princeton New Jersey, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes France, the Carolinas, the Netherlands, Florida, Texas, and soon Washington D.C., plus other locations across Europe and the United States to be added.
Katherine is a trilingual (English-French-German) French-American dual national. She graduated from Brown University before taking her first job in Europe as operations manager of the U.S. Embassy Club in Bonn, Germany. She has since worked in marketing, communications and business development in a wide range of environments including consulting, manufacturing, and government in the U.S. Germany and France. Katherine has a master’s degree from the Sorbonne’s CELSA school of communications.
Todd P. Schwartz,
Todd Schwartz retired from the Foreign Service of the United States in September 2015 with the personal rank of Counselor (roughly equivalent to Brigadier General).
Mr. Schwartz joined the State Department as a Foreign Service Officer in 1987. His overseas postings included Germany, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Qatar, the Philippines, Kuwait (Counselor for Economic Affairs), Canada (Principal Officer in Winnipeg, Manitoba), and Iraq (Counselor for Economic Affairs). His assignments in Washington have included tours as Director for the Office of Iraq Economic Affairs, Director of the Office of Iran Affairs, and as an assessor with the Board of Examiners for the Foreign Service. He received numerous awards throughout his career, including three Superior Honor Awards, six Meritorious Honor Awards, and the Secretary’s Career Achievement Award.
Mr. Schwartz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics at the Richard T. Farmer School of Business at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. A father of four, he is married to the former Nancy Dye Sunderland of Dayton, Ohio. Nancy and Todd now reside in the Mount Washington area of Cincinnati.

Camille Sailer is an attorney-consultant specializing in transatlantic business development, grant implementation in the innovation and cyber sectors, and educational programs. After Ms. Sailer’s diplomatic service, she was the Director of International Trade for New Jersey. Prior to this position she was responsible for International Business Development at the World Trade Center Greater Philadelphia.

Ms Sailer comes from the Philadelphia area and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Lafayette College and received her law degree from Villanova University. She also attended the University of Madrid where she received a degree in Spanish studies summa cum laude. Her languages are Spanish, French, Dutch, Korean and German.
Natacha Lalande is the Regional Director of EACC Rhone-Alps, Auvergne and Burgundy since March 2016. From 2011 to 2015 she was in charge of the chapter’s communication and events.
She spent 10 years in North America. She was employed by Entreprise Rhône-Alpes International (E.R.A.I.), first in Montreal as a Project Manager in international development before creating the organization’s branch in the United States.
From 2000 through 2007 she worked for the French Consulate in Atlanta as Press and Communication Attaché. She is Franco-British.
Samantha Castro Spratt is an attorney licensed to practice law in Brazil and the Principal of Global Assist Consulting, an international business development firm focused on helping companies successfully expand into international markets.
Samantha initiated her career in 1994 with Grupo Tecsat, a telecommunication company in São José dos Campos, SP Brazil, as part of their in-house legal team. In 2000, she moved to the United States to advance her professional career and obtained a MBA degree from Rockford University in Illinois. Since then, she has worked in diverse matters related to international business and assisted companies with contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, strategic planning and business development initiatives.
Prior to relocating to South Carolina, she spent eight years working for the international division of Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global leader in the professional and home grooming market. She served as Wahl International Compliance Manager, helping them to open subsidiaries in Brazil, Russia and India and negotiate contracts with their distributors all over the globe. In 2011, she became Wahl Director of Latin America, implementing successful strategies and contributing to the profitable growth of their Latin America business. In 2015, Samantha moved to Greenville with her husband Bob and daughter Anna.
Marcel is Managing Director of Tradinfo, a leading Financial Relationship Marketing Agency, specialized in global 1:1 investor conferences and investor relations (IR) services.
Up until 2008, he was senior partner for 10 years at the IR research firm Rematch, where he was responsible for advising European mid and large cap companies on their relationship with institutional shareholders and investors. Additionally, he also worked as lecturer at a university for applied sciences in Amsterdam and as trainer of different management/business simulation programs for banks and corporates.
He studied economics at Amsterdam University and is fluent in Dutch, English and German.
Marcel’s business network encompasses CEOs, CFOs and IROs of European stock listed corporates. In addition, he has worked with numerous stock exchanges and financial institutions such as banks, asset owners, asset managers, private equity firms, family offices, etc. Finally, due to organising (match-making) events and specialty seminars, he is well connected to numerous high-level speakers and subject experts in Europe.
Christina Sleszynska is an International Association Executive, formerly based in Brussels, where she managed European trade associations and their EU government relations activities. She established the Europe Representative Office of the International Trademark Association (INTA), the world’s largest trade organization of IP professionals in the world, in 2006. She ran INTA’s European Office as its Chief Representative Officer until she moved back to Miami in 2017. She joined the Founding Committee of the Florida Chapter of the European American Chamber of Commerce in 2018 and was appointed as EACC Florida’s Executive Director in January 2020.
Erin has extensive experience in association management having served for 11 years as Director of both the Dallas/Fort Worth and San Francisco Chapters of the French-American Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Erin served as Director of Programs & Member Relations at the Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations where she enjoyed interacting with the Council on Foreign Relations and other international think tanks to create policy-related programming. Erin recently launched successful programs in Dallas such as EuroTech Talks and European American Flight Forum as innovation-focused business initiatives.
Erin’s prior business achievements include the launch and management of her own import company wholesaling high-end wine accessories nationwide through large and small-scale retailers, restaurants and online stores. She also worked for Equifax as a bi-lingual analyst for Canadian data research.
Erin holds a degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University and a Certification in Non-Profit Mgmt. She has lived, worked and studied in France.
The European American Chamber of Commerce Network is expanding and will be adding new chapters across the United States and within Europe. We are currently looking at Washington DC, the West Coast, Boston MA, Frankfurt Germany, Dublin Ireland, Milan Italy, Lisbon Portugal, and Spain.
