The EACCNY is a private and independent 501(c)6 Non-Profit organization with affiliates in Paris, Lyon France, the EACC Netherlands, Cincinnati, OH, the Carolinas, Miami, FL, and Texas, and expansion plans for other US and European cities.

We look back on a long tradition that started 1926 with the formation of the Paris branch, initially as the French-American Chamber of Commerce and renamed to the European American Chamber of Commerce in 2003.  The Cincinnati chapter was formed in 2007 as the first of its kind in the US Market with the New York chapter following suit in 2008, Lyon France in 2013, the Carolinas in 2016, the Netherlands in 2019, Florida in 2020 and Texas in 2021.  Since its inception the EACC has built a network of major players in the transatlantic business community that reaches over 10,000 executives in the US and across Europe.

Via our transatlantic chapter network, we open doors for our members across, both, Europe and the United States.

The EACCNY’s local audience is comprised of major organizations in the financial services sector, banking/investment, legal advisors, insurance, advisory & consulting services, Tax and other professional services, biotech/medtech, healthcare, life science/pharma, education, energy, technology, hospitality/travel, transportation/logistics, manufacturing, retail, real estate, international trade and other business sectors represented in the Tri-State area. EACCNY, together with select sister chapters, is the official Partner of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) for the US Market. This relationship offers our members access to unique and targeted business opportunities through the hundreds of EU based business organisations represented in the EEN network. The EEN is an initiative by the European Commission and the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with international ambitions.

Our Raison d’être

“If we open a quarrel between past and present , then we shall find that we have lost the future” – Winston Churchill

A message from our Founder, Maurice Marchand-Tonel:Key decisions today, corporate and government , can only be based on educated judgment. Judgment must be based on good information and sentiment derived from dialogue with other respected decision-makers. This is precisely what the EACC is all about. Based on a common history , the same values and the same challenges, Europe and the US are in this together.”

Why YOUR organisation should become part of the EACC Network

The European American Chamber of Commerce opens up business opportunities across all of Europe for US companies & provides access to the US Market for European companies.
If you are active in the transatlantic corridor you want to be part of our network. We offer:

The EACCNY hosts a variety of educational seminars, panel discussions, workshops and roundtables to educate its members and the wider New York business community on matters relevant to doing business on both sides of the Atlantic.
