Integrating AI into Business Processes – What, When, How, Who?

There is no doubt that AI can deliver significant efficiencies to a number of business processes. In order for that to happen one must align strategy, process redesign, with human and technical capabilities.

Although every artificial intelligence application is different, each one is shaped around an organization’s starting point, circumstances, and goals. To unlock the full potential of AI, companies need to embrace predictive and generative AI, align tech investments strategically, and prepare their talent for new challenges.

Our panel will guide us through this process and provide us with insights how to unlock the full potential of AI in business process improvement esp. in the light of regulatory differences between Europe and the United States.

• Developing an AI strategy:
> Main steps: explore, assess, define clear objectives (what you want to use it for), build a roadmap
> Common mistakes: insufficient data, lack of awareness about AI’s capabilities and potential applications, misalignment between AI initiatives and other company goals/priorities, scarcity of talent, etc.
• Picking the right AI solutions for your objectives
> Evaluate the AI solutions available on the market, are they scalable, do they travel [across borders]
> Assess data requirements, privacy restrictions
> Dos and Don’ts (do your thorough due diligence, start small, don’t forget your objectives, leave enough time to train your employees, etc.)
• Adopting the AI solution(s)
> Regulatory challenges deploying your AI process solution across borders
> Ensuring data quality, in the context of cross-border data restrictions
> How to insure responsible AI (accountability, transparency, fairness, and inclusiveness)
> Workforce issues (training, governance improvements, strategic workforce planning, etc.)
