As AI moves from early testing to everyday business use, companies on both sides of the Atlantic are facing major changes in how work is organized, managed, and carried out. Our panel brings together experts from Europe and the United States to explain the real challenges and opportunities that come with this shift.

The speakers will look at the practical issues of building safe, human‑centered AI systems, how job roles and skills have changed since 2023, and which HR and talent tools have actually delivered value. They will also discuss new leadership and governance needs, growing legal duties around transparency and explainability, and rising risks linked to synthetic data, deepfakes, and unapproved “shadow AI.”

Discussion topics will include:

> Practical challenges in AI implementation
Balancing innovation with legal, ethical, and operational risk.
Designing human-centered, compliant AI systems
Exploring managing workforces that will be part AI and part human
Outlining best practices for building transparent, fair, and accountable AI workflows.
> Workforce transformation and the AI skills gap
Reviews which roles evolved, disappeared, or became “AI-native” between 2023–2025.
> What actually works in HR AI
An analysis of which AI use cases delivered ROI and which created operational or legal failures.
> AI governance and ownership of risk
Examines emerging C-suite roles, board oversight, and integration into enterprise risk frameworks.
> Transparency and explainability obligations

> Synthetic data, deepfakes, and identity challenges in hiring

> The ChatGPT inflection point, agentic AI and rise of shadow AI
