More Record Growth in 2017
Stout’s Investment Banking group just concluded another exciting year. We added 13 new professionals, executed over 40 engagements, and achieved more than 60% revenue growth for the second consecutive year. Our momentum has continued into 2018, with as many as five transactions expected to be announced this month.
New Senior Talent in Key Sectors
We broadened our industry expertise with the hiring of Managing Directors John Calcagnini
and Steve Rathbone
. Based in Los Angeles, John leads our Healthcare practice, while Steve is based in New York and leads our Business Services and Diversified Industrials practices. Guy Phillips
also joined as a Senior Advisor in our New York office, bringing many years of consumer and retail industry experience.
Strengthening Our Global Reach
We opened our first Europe-based offices in Geneva and Lausanne, Switzerland, and welcomed Managing Directors Stéphane Oury
and Christophe Lapaque
to lead teams in each location. Together, Stéphane and Christophe have more than 30 years’ experience in international M&A across numerous industries including consumer products; technology, media, and telecommunications; pharmaceuticals; and diversified industrials. Their presence offers valuable cross-border transaction coverage for Switzerland and the active market regions of Western Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Select 2017 Transactions
If we had the opportunity to work with you during 2017, we sincerely appreciate your trust and collaboration. If you or a company you advise are seeking guidance in order to buy, sell or recapitalize a business, we look forward to connecting with you in 2018.
