Stout Promotes Four Professionals to Managing Directors

Stout is proud to announce that John D. Baumgartner, Emma Bienias, Len Devaney, and Joe Torzewski have been promoted to Managing Directors. Each of these professionals has shown a commitment to Stout’s core values, provide superb client service, make significant economic contributions, demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, and have solid reputations in the marketplace.

John D. Baumgartner is in the Houston Dispute Consulting group. He has more than 15 years of restructuring, consulting, and corporate finance experience and focuses his expertise across a number of industries including healthcare, energy and utilities, real estate, and consumer and retail industries. 

Emma Bienias is a member of the Chicago office’s Intellectual Property practice and has 15 years of experience providing expert litigation support. Emma is co-founder and committee chair of the Chicago Women in Intellectual Property (ChiWIP) and holds several leadership roles within a number of other professional organizations.

Len Devaney leads Stout’s Machinery & Equipment Valuation practice and is based in Chicago. He has over 30 years of valuation consulting experience and is well-versed in a variety of valuation issues concerning domestic and international markets. 

Joe Torzewski leads the Houston Real Estate practice and has over 15 years of specialized commercial real estate valuation experience. Joe holds permanent licenses in numerous states and has appraised properties across 47 states and five continents.
