The Toy Association is alerting members to the launch of the Save Small Business Fund, a new grant-making initiative launched by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Vistaprint.
The initiative seeks to provide short-term relief in for small employers in the form of a four-part campaign that includes financial aid, resources and guidance, advocacy, and polling, as well as a call to action for the larger business community and government to help small businesses, according to a recent press release. With contributions from corporate and philanthropic partners, the Chamber plans to issue $5,000 grants to small employers in the U.S. and its territories.
The initiative is currently targeting businesses that have three to 20 employees, are in an economically vulnerable community, and have been financially harmed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce also offers a state-by-state guide to coronavirus financial assistance for those who may not qualify for the grant. Grant applications will open on April 20.
