Tradewind Finance is pleased to announce that Emilio Estevez has joined the company as Vice President of Sales based out of their New York office. Emilio will leverage his experiences building client relationships and structuring deals in the trade finance space to help drive Tradewind’s factoring and supply chain financing business and expand their international client base, including in Latin America where he concentrated his business development efforts previously. Emilio will be reporting to John Stillwaggon, CEO of Tradewind Americas.
Emilio formerly served as Business Development Director at financial firms Stenn International and RTS International. Most recently in his role at Stenn, he was responsible for structuring supply chain financing deals for clients globally, with a focus on digital strategy. At RTS, Emilio generated new business for the company throughout Latin America.
Emilio’s industry knowledge of global trade finance, as well as his portfolio of business connections, especially those in the US and Latin America, will be an asset to Tradewind as the company continues to grow and extend their reach both domestically and abroad.
Prior to stepping into the financial services field, Emilio worked for a leading wire and synthetic rope manufacturer, garnering knowledge on the production side, where he was in charge of managing and resolving field engineering issues. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
