A Message from the President

Dear Members and Friends of the EACC,

Jim Rosener - photoChange is in the air, much like the recent change in season,  the European American Chamber of Commerce is undergoing a few changes as well,  to begin with Francesco Liberti who worked tirelessly and did a wonderful job for the chamber has moved on to a new exciting opportunity and we wish him the very best in his new endeavors.

With Francesco departure two new roles have been created, first we now have a dedicated Executive Director, Yvonne Bendinger-Rothschild who will be working on expanding membership, generate publicity for EACC NY and reach out to organizations to partner with.

Yvonne started her career in marketing &  business development at a B2B publication here in New York City.  During her 15-year career she has worked and consulted for a  number of non-profits where she significantly contributed to raising their profile,  and increasing membership and event attendance. She has worked with clients and partners across the US, in Europe, Latin America and Asia.  Yvonne sees herself as a true European and is dedicated to the idea that Europe needs to think, act and be looked at as one entity. Mrs. Bendinger-Rothschild is looking forward to working closely with the EACC board and is focused on creating value for its existing members and on growing the organization.

Secondly, David Torres will now fulfill the roll of Program/Operation Executive Director, David has over 13 years of professional experience in Business development, account and finance with Merrill Lynch, Deloitte & Touche and Deloitte FAS. David, has worked with many not-for-profit organizations to include: the New Jersey Chapter of  Multiple Sclerosis Society;  the Manhattan chapter of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs; Hackettstown Rotary; Morristown and Hackettstown Chamber of Commerce and the Morris County and Hackettstown Soccer associations. David’s received his undergraduate education at the University of Alaska were he studied accounting and his graduate education from Seton Hall University were he studied finance. David looks forward to working with the Board, Committees and members in  creating a robust and successful organization.
