Call for Proposals: “Transatlantic Civil society Dialogues EU-USA: Transatlantic Consumer Dialogue”
Deadline for submission: 21 January 2013

The European Commission is seeking to strengthen dialogues between members of EU and US civil society by addressing a wide range of issues and encouraging the involvement of a broad set of stakeholders. These dialogues complement the formal policy dialogue at government level.

The European Commission invites herewith proposals to stimulate dialogue and cooperation between non-governmental organisations and interest groups, including social partners, representing wide constituencies in the EU and the US. Through this specific call the European Commission wishes to support the continuation and strengthening of the transatlantic Consumer Dialogue.

Getting to Know Europe

Through its Getting to Know Europe grant competition, the European Commission awards funding to US-based non-governmental, non-profit organizations for programs to promote a greater knowledge of the EU within local and regional communities around the US.

Applications are no longer accepted for the 2013-14 Getting to Know Europe grant cycle. The deadline for applications was September 4, 2012.
