Main Results Of The Justice And Home Affairs Council

On 9 October 2015 the Council agreed its negotiating stance on the draft data protection directive. This draft directive is aimed at protecting personal data processed for the prevention, investigation, detection or prosecution of criminal offences or the execution of criminal offences or the safeguarding against and the prevention of threats to public security.
