European Commission President José Manuel Barroso will deliver the State of the Union Address 2011 tomorrow, September 28, at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
As Europe faces a defining moment, President Barroso will provide an assessment of where the Union stands and chart the way ahead, especially with respect to the EU’s response to the economic crisis. The speech will be followed by a debate in the plenary.
People can also directly address President Barroso as part of YouTube’s World View series with world leaders. On October 6, the President will answer the top questions in a live interview, which will be broadcast on http://www.youtube.com/worldview.
President Barroso’s State of the Union speech will be transmitted live at 3 AM (EST) and can also be viewed at a later point.
