The EACC Paris is proud to announce its new Deputy Executive Director

The EACC Paris is proud to announce the arrival of Jean-Yves as Deputy Executive Director of the EACC Paris. Until recently Jean-Yves was the Head of the Press and Public Affairs department and the Spokesperson of the British Embassy in France for six and a half years.
Before that, he had been Deputy Spokesperson of the French Permanent Representation of France to the United Nations in New York, and then a communications officer for the French Presidency of the Council of Europe. Based on his previous experience he is already quite imersed in international and institutional relations, the Transatlantic relationship and European Affairs.

By joining the EACC Paris, Jean-Yves is reconnecting with the network of chambers of commerce. As a matter of fact, he was Director of Communications and Administration of the French Chamber of Commerce in Canada (Toronto) some twenty years ago. Beside the Press Club where he’s already known to most members, Jean-Yves will be working closely with French, European and American institutions. Last but not least, he will assist Claudine in the daily life of the EACC Paris network. EACC Paris was founded 12 years ago as a lone chapter in Paris, and it is now the “parent” of a network of eight offices on both sides of the Atlantic. The opening of our “Carolinas chapter” in Greenville, SC, on 11 August, illustrates the dynamism of a network which, today, counts a thousand members on both sides of the pond.

Do not hesitate to call or meet with Jean-Yves to share your ideas and expectations with him.

Please also note that the EACC Paris will be moving beginning of September to our new head office in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, 36 Rue des Plantes.
