Goldberg Segalla Launches blog: Risky Business: Avoiding Product Liability, Commercial, & Other Litigation

EACC New york Member Goldberg Segalla is pleased to announce that we have launched a new blog: Risky Business: Avoiding Product Liability, Commercial, and Other Litigation — a forum to assist corporations in evaluating and avoiding litigation risk by providing case summaries, practice tips, and updates from regulatory agencies such as the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The blog also provides general information and strategies to minimize exposure to product liability, commercial and other litigation (both domestic and international).

The goal of Goldberg Segalla’s Risk and Litigation Avoidance Strategies Practice Group is to help companies recognize, analyze, and proactively avoid the risk of loss in a business context. These risks may arise from unfavorable commercial agreements, violations of various consumer protection statutes, or an inability to support the design and manufacture of its products in litigation.  The failure to recognize and successfully manage these risks can cost businesses untold sums in lost revenue and productivity.  However, a realistic assessment of these risks coupled with proactive strategies will minimize their impact while simultaneously providing a direct and beneficial impact on a company’s increased profitability.

Please feel free to pass this link along to any of your coworkers or colleagues who may be interested in this topic and feel free to share via LinkedIn and other social media outlets.  Please also feel free to provide Goldberg Segalla with any comments, questions or feedback.
