We are pleased to present WSGR’s 2016 Highlights, a compilation of select accomplishments achieved on behalf of the firm’s clients and representative examples of our commitment to our communities, philanthropy, diversity, and pro bono work. As in previous editions of our annual highlights, we have tried to share as broad a range of practices and successful matters as possible, knowing we simply cannot include all the remarkable happenings that have transpired in the past year

WSGR Honored Among America’s Top Corporate Law Firms for 2016

Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati was ranked No. 15 in the general counsel rankings and No. 16 in the director rankings of Corporate Board Member’s 16th annual “America’s Top Corporate Law Firms” study, a comprehensive ranking of the top 25 corporate law firms by U.S. corporate directors and general counsel. WSGR Named 2016 Corporate Department of the Year Finalist

Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati was named an overall finalist and winner of the capital markets category in The Recorder’s annual “Corporate Department of the Year” awards. WSGR was recognized for its involvement in “huge” deals and marquee IPOs for clients, including offerings for Square, GoDaddy, and NantKwest. (The Recorder, May 2016)

WSGR Achieves Top Rankings for Law Firm Diversity

Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati again earned a top ranking in The American Lawyer’s 2016 Diversity Scorecard, one of the best-known benchmarks measuring law firm diversity. WSGR ranked No. 3 overall, with 26.2 percent minority attorneys and 19.8 percent minority partners. (The American Lawyer, June 2016)

In addition, WSGR ranked No. 4 on The American Lawyer’s list of the 100 best U.S. law firms for racial minority attorneys. WSGR was also recognized among the best law firms for minority partners. (The American Lawyer, May 2016)
