E. Christopher Murray speaks at The Nassau Academy of Law CLE

Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. announced today, February 24, 2016, partner E. Christopher (Chris) Murray, member of the firm’s Litigation Department, and Chair of the Environmental and Land Use practice group, spoke at The Nassau Academy of Law’s recent CLE program. The program focused on guardianships, particularly guardianships for adults with developmental disabilities. 

Nick Boba from the Center for Developmental Disabilities in Woodbury, was a part of the panel and addressed the need for guardianships for autistic adults, and the use of institutional guardians. Joining Chris and Nick Boba on the panel was Saundra M. Gumerove, Mark Begley, Beth Polner Abrahams and Hon. Edward W. McCarty III, with L. Susan Slavin as the programs Moderator.

Chris Murray is the Founder and President of the Autism Legal Foundation, Inc., which provides free legal service to adults on the Autism spectrum and their families.  Chris also serves on the Board of a number of charities and not-for-profit organizations including The Center for Developmental Disabilities, Nassau County Mental Health Association and Literacy Nassau.
