EU reaches milestone deal to curtail methane emissions
Earlier this week, the European Commission welcomed a provisional agreement between the European Parliament and Council on a groundbreaking EU regulation designed to mitigate methane emissions both within Europe and globally. EU negotiators reach provisional agreement on Critical Raw Materials
Earlier this week, the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union reached a provisional agreement on the Critical Raw Materials Act. The Act sets out a plan dedicated to ensuring the European Union’s access to a secure, diversified, cost-effective, and environmentally sustainable supply of critical raw materials. Biden-XI meeting seeks to rebuild U.S.-China relations
Earlier this week, Joe Biden welcomed XI Jinping to California for a meeting in light of the APEC summit, with this engagement being nearly being exactly a year since their last in Bali, Indonesia. In the year since, relations have continued to deteriorate between the countries. A notable escalation in US-Chinese relations came with the visit of then-Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan in August of last year, sparking China to sever military contact with the US.
