The Central Bank has issued correspondence regarding the adoption of UCITS IV by self-managed investment companies. The adoption timeline previously set out by the Central Bank for such entities had been suspended pending clarification from it. Read More

The European Commission has issued proposals for UCITS V and VI. UCITS V is focussed on issues regarding depositary liability but UCITS VI focuses on 8 key areas. Read More

III. ESMA Issues Guidelines on ETFs and Other UCITS Issues

ESMA has published a Consultation paper on ESMA’s guidelines on ETFs and other UCITS issues. Read More

IV. AIFMD Update: ESMA Guidelines on Remuneration

ESMA has published a Consultation paper on Guidelines on Sound Remuneration Policies under the AIFMD. Read More

VI. UCITS: ESMA Publishes Q&A Papers

ESMA has published Question and Answer papers on (i) Risk Measurement and Calculation of Global Exposure and Counterparty Risk for UCITS (ii) Notification of UCITS and exchange of information between competent authorities and (iii) Prospectuses. Read More
