EACC Energy & Infrastructure Task Force

EACC Energy & Infrastructure Task Force

Mission:

The mission of the energy & infrastructure task force is to engage the European and U.S. energy & infrastructure related community and generate awareness about the programs, thought-leadership and resources the EACCNY and its members have to offer to companies and organizations in the Energy, sustainable Infrastructure and Renewables sector.

The international make-up of the EACC’s energy & infrastructure task force offers us direct access to the key players in European market and throughout the United States, and with that a unique position among our peers.
We will coordinate activities and programs with our partners at the United Nations, the European Commission, OECD, IMF and other relevant partners in the United States.

The committee will assist the EACC in providing its members and the larger EACC audience with timely & relevant information and resources on matters affecting the energy industry & infrastructure developers in Europe and the U.S.

Main Goals:

  • Contribute to and participate in targeted business and networking activities to engage the energy community, in alignment with EACC’s strategic priorities
  • Identify the key issues affecting the energy markets in the US and the European Union and develop informative programs and thought-leadership articles to educate the EACC membership and the energy & infrastructure task force larger audience
  • Inform European executives about relevant energy & development issues in the United States and respectively US executives about the EU market as well as how they affect transatlantic business transactions

Committee Responsibilities

  • Help raise the profile and visibility of the EACC, our members and their thought-leadership in business, legal & regulatory matters locally, nationally and internationally within the Energy & infrastructure related industries and its larger constituency
  • Participate in annual committee leaders’ meetings and EACCNY’s strategic meeting
  • Identify prospective members within the target audience of the committee and engage them with the goal to get involved and become part of the EACC
  • Engage in a regular discourse with the EACC Staff and program committee to help identify relevant topics and changes in the energy industry that could affect cross-border transactions and financing of these projects
  • Initiate a dialogue with relevant subject matter experts who can share their knowledge and present at EACC seminars

Infrastructure Task Force Members:

The composition of the Energy & Infrastructure Task Force should be diverse in terms of industry sectors and verticals as well as geographies. It should be representative of the local community yet intune with the transatlantic and pan-european credentials of the EACC membership and our larger audience. It will represent the traditional and the renewable energy sectors.

  • Concrete members are to be determined in the next few months while we build out the Energy & Infrastructure Task Force.
