Join us for a conversation with Mairead McGuinness, EU Commissioner in charge of Financial Stability, Financial Services, and Capital Markets Union.

Commissioner McGuinness will explain her priorities regarding sustainable finance including the EU’s plans to finance the transition to a more sustainable economy. We will talk about how the EU address climate related risks and the impact of the current energy price hike on climate goals.

We will discuss the latest European financial markets developments and Commissioner McGuinness will share an update on the ongoing EU-US financial regulatory cooperation to address the key challenges in the global financial markets.

She will discuss the role of financial innovation in creating a competitive financial sector. The EU Commissioner will also offer a state of play on the EU Capital Markets Union and discuss the EU and US coordination on the financial sanctions regime deployed against Russia.
